Appalachian Trail Forever Stamps
The Appalachian National Scenic Trail, stretching nearly 2,200 miles from Georgia to Maine, is honored with a stunning pane of 15 Forever stamps from the U.S. Postal Service.
Each stamp features a breathtaking photograph from a different state along the trail from the forests of Georgia to the highlands of Maine capturing the natural beauty of this legendary footpath.
The trail, often called the green tunnel by hikers, offers moments of solitude and connection with nature just a short distance from major East Coast cities.
Art director Antonio Alcal curated the stamp designs using captivating photography from across the 14 states the trail passes through.
These Forever stamps are always valid for the current First-Class Mail one-ounce rate.
