Thinking of You Forever Stamp 2023
Introducing the "Thinking of You" Stamp Collection: A Burst of Cheerful Connection
Designed with whimsy and warmth, the "Thinking of You" stamps are more than just postage; they're colorful tokens of affection crafted for sending letters and cards to friends and loved ones.
Issued with the intention of complementing heartfelt messages to cherished recipients, these stamps add an extra touch of joy and positivity to each piece of mail.
Each stamp design features delightful imagery, including flowers, balloons, adorable animals, tasty desserts, and symbols of good luck, all rendered in a vibrant and cheery color palette.
What sets these stamps apart is their special design details: the stamp sheet includes die-cut, self-adhesive words of encouragement and affirmations surrounding the pane of stamps. These can be easily removed and added to the envelope, enhancing the message of love and care conveyed by the stamps themselves.
The First Day of Issue Ceremony took place in Cleveland, Ohio, at The Great American Stamp Show, marking the debut of these delightful stamps in the postal world.
The history behind these stamps reflects the enduring significance of handwritten letters as a means of connection and communication. Despite advancements in technology, the heartfelt sentiment expressed through handwritten correspondence remains unparalleled.
In 2023, the USPS introduced the "Thinking of You" stamps to infuse the act of sending and receiving letters with joy and positivity. With their whimsical designs and thoughtful details, these stamps serve as a reminder to embrace the simple pleasure of reaching out to loved ones "just because."
