U.S. Flag 2025 Forever Stamp
The U.S. Postal Service proudly continues its tradition of honoring the American flag with a new Forever stamp, available in booklets, panes, and coils.
The stamp features the Stars and Stripes waving in the wind against a bright white background. Below the flag, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA appears in blue above a red line, with FOREVER / USA in gray beneath it.
Symbol of Unity and Freedom
The current American flag includes 13 red and white stripes representing the original colonies, and 50 stars representing each state. The 50th star was added in 1960 after Hawaii became the last state to join the Union.
The U.S. flag remains a powerful symbol of patriotism, seen flying at government buildings, schools, military bases, and monuments across the country. Each year, Flag Day is celebrated on June 14 in honor of its enduring legacy.
Designed by Antonio Alcal and based on a photograph by Doug Haight, this stamp is issued as a Forever stamp, always valid for the current First-Class Mail one-ounce rate.
